Seaside Community

Project Goal Although the town of Seaside is a Traditional Neighborhood Development TND, which is designed for residents to be able to walk to most of the town’s amenities, many residents use automobiles as a secondary mode of transportation and to visit nearby neighboring communities. The goal of this project is to inform the residents of three vehicles that use less energy than traditional automobiles and are more in keeping with the underlying principles of a TND. The information is to be conveyed in the form of a presentation. The presentation is to be delivered as a video.

Corporate Training class included this short presentation describing three energy efficient cars for residents of the Seaside Institute. My green screen production, using Adobe Premiere, featured inlayed graphics, animation created in After Effects, and Primier Pro, that includes narration.
I produced every aspect of this production. Storyboarding was critical to its success. I even choreographed the moves to take into account for where graphics would need to be introduced.
Many takes were needed to assure the lighting was correct that would keep the green screen color consistant across the background. Three light boxes were used, the one overhead was a challenging set-up, but I feel the many takes were worth it.
By using After Effects, I was able to edit the many hours of video efficiently while also being able to edit the audio with Auditions fluently.
