Edge Animate
During this month, I created three projects in Edge Animate that are interactive. By keeping the learner engaged with interactions, we as instructors are keeping the learner focused on the data that needs to be learned.
If you're not an avid programmer, you can use Edge Animate's more design-friendly features to build the same graphics without code. The three projects below was an introduction into the world of animation without the need to understand HTML as a professional code writer.
By using the skills I have developed in Photoshop, Illustrator, and now Edge Animate I was able to bring a learning expereince to the viewer that is very interactive.
“Understanding your learners is part of designing good learning experiences. If you don’t understand your learners, unfortunate things can happen (Dirksen, 2012, p. 27).
By using the simplest shapes and combining images, I was able to bring South Africa to light using After Effects and other graphics editing programs.
